Piquionne earns Hammers a point

Fulham striker Clint Dempsey came back to haunt Robert Green once more but Frederic Piquionne hit back with his third goal in three games to salvage a point in a 1-1 draw for West Ham at Upton Park.

Dempsey, who humiliated Green 112 days ago at the World Cup, beat the England stopper from 12 yards after 32 minutes as Fulham ended a bruising first-half 1-0 up.

However, any hopes of a first league away win in over a year were dashed by Piquionne, who leapt unmarked in the box to nod past Mark Schwarzer to extend the Hammers' unbeaten run to four matches.
