Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy produced a near flawless round of 67 to take the PGA Tour BMW Championship by two strokes at Crooked Stick in Carmel, Indiana.
The USPGA champion sank six birdies while a bogey on the final hole was the only blemish on his card as he climbed from an overnight position of joint third to lift the title with a total of 20 under.
England's Lee Westwood and Phil Mickelson of the United States, who had held a share of the lead with Vijay Singh after a stunning round of 64 on Saturday, finished on 18 under for the tournament.
American pair Tiger Woods and Robert Garrigus were a further shot back on a congested-looking leaderboard.
