Rout has Harrow flying ahead of BAA match

HARROW limbered up for this Saturday's Herts/Middlesex 4 home clash with British Airways (2.15pm) with a 43-0 friendly hammering of Borehamwood.

Gary Conroy opened the scoring, converted by Tom Kelly, with Harrow dominating the scrum from the outset.

Another try soon followed from a chip and chase but Harrow let themselves down with yellow cards for Dave West and Shaun Pratt. Borehamwood, however, could not take advantage and were second best throughout.

Conroy again, Kelly (2) and Stewart Reed were among those who crossed the whitewash to give Harrow a comprehensive victory.

Man of the match was captain for the day, Juri Sihaloho.

This Sunday the club is holding a recruitment morning (10am-noon) to boost its age groups from U7 to U13.

It is an opportunity for children to come along and join in a training session. Visit www.harrowrugby.com.
