Wealdstone v Bury Town

Wealdstone will treat Ryman Premier League new boys Bury Town with caution when the sides clash at St George's Stadium on Saturday (3pm).

Gordon Bartlett's men will be seeking a third straight home win while the Suffolk side are out for their third successive away victory in front of what is hoped will be an above average crowd to support Non-League Day.

Last season's Southern league Division One Midlands champions have taken to life in the Ryman Premier in style, winning their last three games after a goalless draw at Kingstonian on the opening day of the season. They registered away wins at Tonbridge Angels (3-2) and Maidstone United (2-1) before beating Aveley 2-1 at home on Monday.

Bartlett said: “They have had a very good start. I expect them to do well because there is a bit of money being put into them. They are coming to us on the crest of a wave but we have got to go about it and do our job at home.”

Greg Ngoyi (concussion) is a doubt and Danny Burnell could continue in attack with Scott Fitzgerald.
