GORDON Bartlett has told his Wealdstone players to keep on partying if it means plenty of festive cheer on the pitch.
Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp was left raging by his players' secret Christmas blow-out in Dublin recently, but with no fat wage packets and perceived lower stakes involved at non-league level, Bartlett is happy for his players to let their hair down as long as they keep riding high on the field.
He said: "We only see them three times a week and have to trust them.
"They will go and enjoy themselves and one of the reasons why we've been successful so far this season is the spirit we've got within the group.
"If, over the Christmas period, they are sensible in relation to the games, then I have no problem with them going out."
Meanwhile, tomorrow's (Tuesday) home Middlesex Charity Cup game with Hanworth Villa has been frozen off.
