HENDON will be glad there is no sign of Noel at Harrow Borough when the Greens travel to Earlsmead on Boxing Day.
Gary Noel plundered all four goals in Harrow’s 4-2 victory on home soil last season, avenging their 7-0 drubbing in the reverse fixture.
However, Noel has since moved on to pastures new and Gary McCann’s side will be aiming to get back to winning ways against a Borough side enjoying a good run of form.
Like their opponents, Hendon’s Ryman Premier fixture against Bognor Regis Town was postponed because of a frozen pitch last weekend and both sides will be eager to get back into the swing of things.
Borough boss David Howell says he is expecting a tricky test against the Greens, who were temporary tenants at Earlsmead last season.
"Hendon are one of the better passing sides in the league," he said.
"They’ve had a bit of a change in their personnel over there but I’m sure they will hit a run of form soon but hopefully not at our expense."
Hendon then welcome Boreham Wood to Vale Farm on Tuesday (7.45pm).
