Polished Harrow Borough storm to fourth win in six at Cray

HARROW Borough stormed to their fourth win in six Ryman Premier outings with a polished 3-1 triumph at Cray Wanderers on Saturday.

After the hosts had taken an early lead Harrow's response was immediate - Ryan Watts exchanged passes with Rocky Baptiste before driving the ball into the far corner of the net.

Dean Fenton wasted two great chances to put Borough ahead but they finally took the lead on the stroke of half-time. Dewayne Clarke, back from injury, raced clear of the Wanderers' defence before powering his shot past Smelt.

David Howell's men soaked up a spell of early second half pressure from the hosts before making the game safe after 72 minutes.

Gary Meakin and Fenton combined to win the ball in the right-back position and the latter fed the ball through to Baptiste. The striker's pass was laid off by Clarke into the path of Kwasi Frempong who made no mistake for his first goal of the season.

Kenta Nakashima's pace and trickery continued to cause Cray problems before the outstanding Clarke almost grabbed his second goal late on.
