HARROW Borough have announced the appointment of Jason Goodliffe as the club's assistant manager.
Goodliffe quit his number two role at Blue Square South Borehamwood last month and Harrow Borough boss Dave Anderson has moved quickly to install him at Earlsmead.
Anderson has been looking to fill the role for some time with Mark Butler helping him out on a temporary basis during the summer.
Ex-Margate boss Butler has now stepped aside, though he will do scouting for the club, to make way for the arrival of Goodliffe.
Goodliffe had a rich pedigree as a footballer having served AFC Wimbledon and Stevenage Borough during their non league days and played locally for Hayes and Yeading.
Anderson is therefore delighted to have appointed someone with such a vast knowledge of the non league circuit.
"I have known Jason since his Hayes days, though he joined AFC Wimbledon just after I had left them," said Anderson. "I had spoken to him about working together for some time, but when I got back from holiday a few weeks ago, he was then on holiday.
"Jason brings with him a wealth of experience and he is a leader of men. I am delighted to have him on board, but I have to thank Mark for his contribution. He has been great for us and will continue to do some work for us by scouting and helping us out."
