More readers join our campaign

MORE than 3,750 readers have pledged their support to the Observer's Campaign for a Better Grant.

The newspaper has been collecting signatures backing our attempt to get the borough a better financial settlement from central Government for more than six months.

The number of people signing petitions and copies of the letter printed in the paper on a weekly basis is steadily increasing but we still need more support.

The recent Cabinet reshuffle by Prime Minister Gordon Brown means John Healey MP has replaced Phil Woolas MP as Minister for Local Government and will decide how much money residents in Harrow receive.
