A TALENTED dancer has made it through to the final ten of national dancing competition, Got To Dance.
Lukas Macfarlane, 19, of Kensal Rise has wowed the judges and will be performing in the final on Sky 1 HD on Sunday, March 17.
Lukas is one step closer to winning the £250,000 cash prize.
Originally from Canada, Lukas came to the UK to follow his dream of becoming a dancer and now teaches at Studio 68, in south London.
He has experience in dancing tap, ballet and commercial.
Lukas told the Observer: “I am so overwhelmed and just extremely excited. The talent this year on the show was just incredible and I am so honoured to have been chosen to go through to the finals."
First time judge, JLS band member, Aston Merrygold said Lukas' performance was: “Perfect example right there of dance when it’s done at it’s best. It makes you feel something and that performance made all three of us, everyone here and at home, feel that. You are an artist, you are not even a dancer, you are an artist.”
Got To Dace: The Live Final will air on Sky 1 HD and Sky 3D on Sunday, March 17 at 6pm. Finalists Antics, Godson, Gymtasia Evolution, IMD, Lukas Macfarlane, Mini Moves, Rhys, Rory, Ruff Diamond and Tom will compete in front of an audience of 6,000 people at London’s Olympia for the £250,000 prize.
