A FIVE-year-old boy died after a collision with a van in Wembley.
The incident happened at 4.45pm on Monday February 25 in Empire Way.
Police were called to a collision between a white Ford Transit van and pedestrian on the busy road and London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance attended.
The pedestrian, a 5-year-old boy, was taken to St Mary's hospital where he later died.
Next of kin are aware.
The driver stopped at the scene and there were no arrests.
An investigation has been launched by the Road Death Investigation Unit at Northolt.
Matthew Lantos, head of Preston Manor, said: “Everyone at Preston Manor School is shocked and saddened by this tragic incident and our thoughts are with the family at this very sad time.
"The school will be doing everything possible to support other children and families at the school.”
