BRENT: Brent Council is giving people the opportunity to design a library card for Wembley Library, which will open in the new civic centre later this year.
People can design a separate card for children and adults. Competition entries will be divided into age categories and the winners will be decided by an online poll. A series of art workshops will be held to get creative juices flowing.
Visit www.brent.gov.uk/arts for more information and the dates of the workshops.
Policing deadline looms
BRENT: You have three weeks left to have your say on the future of policing in the borough under the mayor of London’s new strategy.
The consultation is open until March 6 and the draft plan will affect the number of police officers in the whole of the city. To comment on the Mayor’s Draft Police and Crime Plan online, visit www.london.gov.uk/mopac.
