A YOUNG man has been given an Asbo banning him from areas of Kingsbury.
Thomas O’Keefe, 20, of Kingsbury, was issued the anti-social behaviour order at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Friday last week.
He has been prohibited from entering or remaining within the area of Edgware Road, Holmstall Avenue, Beverly Drive, North Way, Princess Avenue where it links with North Way and Bacon Lane, Bacon Lane, Roe Green where it links with Bacon Lane and Highfield Avenue and Wakemans Hill Drive.
The prohibitions will last until January 18, 2017.
Chief Inspector Andy Jones said: “I am really pleased to see that we have obtained yet another Asbo that will rein in the behaviour of another individual who is causing problems within his community.”
Councillor Lincoln Beswick. Brent Council lead member for crime and public safety said: “Anti-social behaviour ruins lives and in Brent we have a zero tolerance stance towards this type of crime. Thanks to vigilant residents and Brent’s Community Safety Team; this individual has now been banned from entering large parts of the Kingsbury and Colindale area for the next four years and his Asbo hopefully sends out a message that we take every matter of this kind very seriously.”
