A SCHOOL was evacuated after receiving a bomb threat.
Police were called on Tuesday (Nov 27) morning after an email was sent to Newman Catholic College, Harlesden Road, shortly before 8.15am.
The school and surrounding area were evacuated and cordoned off for public safety.
Police used the explosive dog unit which searched the premises but did not find any evidence of a bomb.
They are no investigating an allegation of malicious communication following an incident at a secondary school in the borough.
The school reopened at 10.20am on Tuesday November 27.
There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
