A COUPLE and their teenage son have been bailed following their arrest on suspicion of possessing ammunition after police found bullets hidden in a sock.
Officers from Brent Tasking Unit executed a search warrant under section 23 of the Misuse Of Drugs Act at home in Elm Road, Wembley, on Monday morning.
No narcotics were discovered but during the search the officers came across eight rounds of live ammunition stuffed into a sock found inside a bag. The calibre of the bullets has not been released.
A 33-year-old man and his partner, a 35-year-old women, and the couple's 15-year-old-son were arrested on suspicion of possession of ammunition and have been released on police bail until January 16 2013 pending further enquiries.
