Wembley restaurant severely damaged by fire

WEMBLEY: A restaurant was severely damaged by a fire.

The premises, in Court Parade, caught fire just after 2am on Monday. The blaze destroyed the restaurant’s ventilation system and caused severe damage to the ground-floor flat roof.

A small part of the kitchen was also damaged, but no one was injured.

Four fire engines and 20 firefighters from Wembley and Northolt fire stations arrived at 2.20am and the fire was under control in less than two hours. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
