PINNER’S X Factor heartthrob has survived another week in the talent competition.
Kye Sones sang an upbeat mash-up in the second live shows and secured enough votes from the public to make it through to next week. The West End Lane resident shocked in the first week with a popular version of Michael Jackson’s Man in the Mirror and this week chose a song which featured tunes from Rihanna, Dido and Eminem.
Kye, 30, is has Gary Barlow as his and two other acts in the over-25s category have been booted off in the last two weeks. Last week Carolynne Poole had the least number of votes and in this week's show on ITV on Sunday October 14 Melanie Masson was next to leave.
Judge Louis Walsh said: “I think you are a great singer and a great performer but I think you can do an awful lot better. If you want to stay in the competition you will have to give something more.”
However, Kye seems to be popular with the voters so far.
