A 18-YEAR-OLD Neasden man has become the fourth suspect charged in connection with the death of Arron Payne.
Jamal Walters, of Roger Stone Court, Coombe Road, appeared from custody at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday charged with murder.
His case was committed to the Old Bailey and he appeared there on Tuesday for a bail hearing when he was remanded back in custody.
The deceased, Arron Payne, was found with stab wounds in Chalkhill Road, Wembley, shortly before 7pm on Wednesday, September 5.
The 26-year-old, of Rawlings Crescent, Chalkhill, died just over a week later on Thursday, September 13, at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, west London.
A post-mortem examination revealed the cause of death as haemorrhaging as a result of a stab wound. Jamal Walters will appear alongside three other defendants at the Old Bailey for a plea and case management hearing on December 21.
They are Dean Gabay, 22, of no fixed address, Tachane Roach-Johnson, 22, of Roger Stone Court, and Jamal’s brother Jarveer Walters, 22 , of Roger Stone Court.
All three were charged with Arron Payne’s murder and remain in custody.
