TRIBUTES have been paid to a mother who died from stab wounds.
Sharlana Diedrick, 32, was discovered in Wyborne Way, Stonebridge, with serious injuries late on Saturday and was taken to St Mary’s Hospital, in Paddington, by ambulance.
She died shortly afterwards.
Flowers and cards have been left at the scene where she was fatally injured with messages to the woman, who was from Watford.
Two cards are addressed to ‘Mummy’ and one reads: ‘I love you so much. I am sorry about everything I put you through. RIP.’
One bouquet is purple and is accompanied by a card which says: ‘I miss you so much. Purple was your colour, I hope you like the flowers.’
The incident happened just after 11pm in the residential street where many families live.
One neighbour, who did not want to be named, said: “I heard three loud screams. I thought at first it was kids playing and shouting, but I went outside as it sounded like someone was calling for help.
“By the time I got there the police had already arrived.”
Police officers and ambulance crews arrived after reports of a seriously injured woman in a car parked in the road.
Another neighbour, who lives in Wyborne Way, said the police had closed the road from Saturday evening until late on Sunday and was asking people not to leave their homes.
The police circulated a flyer with an appeal for information which said the woman had been found in a black Hyundai car.
A post-mortem examination at Northwick Park Hospital on Sunday, revealed the cause of Ms Diedrick’s death as multiple stab wounds.
Next of kin have been informed.
Marvin Samuels, 30, of Conduit Way, was due to appear at Hendon Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Wednesday) after being charged with her murder on Monday.
Two other men were arrested in relation to the incident but were released with no further action.
