TALENTED trigger happy photographers are presenting a display of their best work from the last year.
Harrow Camera Club’s annual print exhibition is open until Thursday, September 20, at Stanmore Library, Stanmore Hill, and shows 82 of the finest prints from members.
It was opened by the Mayor of Harrow, Councillor Nizam Ismail, on Tuesday last week and visitors can see a range of prints, with every member of the club displaying at least one entry.
Chairman Avril Candler said: “It’s really about showing everyone’s individual talents and there are photos from the very experienced to the not very experienced and prints from people using compact cameras to very technical equipment.
“It’s a very strong year and it shows what people have learned through the club and courses over the last year.”
Mrs Candler specialises in photos of the natural world and has a print in the exhibition of a blackbird eating worms and flies, which she took in her garden in Harrow.
She added: “I like to show that you don’t have to go on exotic holidays to be able to photograph wildlife – it’s everywhere.”
