FASHIONISTAS will be gathering to help reduce the amount of waste the borough produces.
Harrow Council has organised an event called Swishing, to encourage people to reuse clothing, shoes and accessories.
Every person attending is required to bring up to 10 good-quality items they no longer want, which ‘qualifies’ them to take items that other people have brought in.
It is hoped fashion-lovers will flock to the Civic Centre, in Station Road, Harrow, on Friday, September 21 from 11am.
The Swishing event is part of the Wear it, Love it, Share it campaign being run by the council in partnership with West London Waste.
