A MAN died at Wembley Central station earlier today (Wednesday 18).
The man was pronounced dead at the scene after he was struck by a London Overground train travelling from Watford to Euston just before 1.30pm this afternoon.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "“BTP and Metropolitan Police officers attended the incident and is currently being treated as non-suspicious. Paramedics from London Ambulance Service also attended, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquires are ongoing to establish the identity of the man and inform his family."
The London Overground was suspended until just after 3.15pm but Wembley Central station will remain closed until the incident has been cleared.
There are severe delays on the Bakerloo line due to disruption caused.
