A 17 year-old boy was injured in a crash with a private ambulance van in Pinner early this morning.
The teenager was in a Silver Rover 420 that crashed into the emergency vehicle just after midnight, at the junction of Oxhey Lane and Royston Park Road.
London and East of England Ambulance Services, the Fire Brigade and police were called to the scene, and the boy was taken to Waford Hospital with neck, shoulder and back injuries.
A second passenger was treated at the scene, but did not make the trip to hospital. It is not known whether the private ambulance vehicle was on call or carrying a patient at the time.
There were no arrests.
