A PINNER clothes shop is using eBay to help boost sales.
DNK Outlet in High Street, run by the family of X Factor star Katie Waissel, has made a name for itself on the internet auction site by selling 'pre-loved' vintage clothes for as much as £400.
Miss Waissel took time out of her busy touring schedule to help promote the store and its innovative new recycled clothes scheme.
She told the Observer: "We have had a massive influx of vintage wear from people who are keen to recycle their clothes and make a bit of money.
"We have been inspired by it, encouraging customers to raid their wardrobes to find things they don't wear any more.
"We have an excellent reputation on eBay now and people trust us, so we can sell people's clothes for a lot more than they would get anywhere else."
Anyone who hands in their clothes and accessories to the store will receive 41 per cent of the price it sells for on eBay, or otherwise get their items back within a month.
"Me and all my friends love going into vintage shops, that is where we have fun," continued Katie.
Her mother, Diana Waissel, added: "We have been shipping people's clothes to Australia, America, Thailand. How many times do women buy shoes, wear them once and they are too uncomfortable?
"We can sell them for you, all you have to do is bring them in."
