Two men, 17 and 22, arrested over South Harrow stabbing

TWO arrests have been made by police investigating a stabbing outside a South Harrow pub that left the victim in hospital.

The pair, a 17-year-old and a 22 year-old, both from the Harrow area, were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent following an alleged altercation outside The Horseshoe pub in Eastcote Lane on Wednesday.

Paramedics called to nearby Tregenna Avenue at 9.20pm that night found a man in his early 20s, believed to be Scott Blundell, suffering several stab wounds.

He was flown by air ambulance to an undisclosed east London hospital where he is currently in a "serious but stable" condition.

A witness who did not want to be named said: "The number of police cars and ambulances with flashing blue lights was like something off the telly.

"I could see a person being treated on the ground outside the Abbey Dental Practice and it didn’t look good at all.

"People were wandering around asking what had happened, but all the police would tell us was it was an ‘incident’

"I did see people crying and hugging each other though."

A London Ambulance spokesman said it had sent two fast response cars, one paramedic crew, an officer and the air ambulance to the scene.

They spent nearly an hour treating the victim before he was taken to hospital.

n Witnesses to the assault should call the police on 0300 123 1212 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
