Both sets of staff now have the capability to work remotely with 3G wireless laptop computers, and can use 'hot desk' areas in both offices.

Ms Bailey then met Buckinghamshire Advertiser reporter Polly Manser in Costa Coffee in Uxbridge High Street who a story and picture to the TMS production centre in Chertsey.

She travelled on to Chertsey to watch production staff upload the copy and image on to the web where you see it now.

Ms Bailey said: "Until last week, TMS journalists had to return to their offices to file copy. Now all have been issued with wireless laptops and cameras and are filing copy from coffee houses, libraries, motorway service stations or anywhere they can get a signal."
