Cop facing burglary charges

A Metropolitan Police officer working in Brent has today been charged with burglary following a internal investigation.

PC Keiley Patton, 26, was also charged with three counts of misconduct in a public office and will appear in court later this month.

Another man, 24-year-old Soloman Henry from Archway, north London, was charged with aiding and abetting misconduct in a public office and obtaining personal information without permission.

PC Patton was arrested in June following an investigation by the Directorate of Professional Standards.

The pair will appear on bail at City of Westminster Magistrates Court on October 23.
