I HAVE discovered that Harrow Council's cabinet, at a meeting last Wednesday, approved the acceptance of £2.1million from the Primary Care Trust (NHS Harrow) into the adult social care budget and, at the same time, approved the transfer of the same sum from the adult social care budget to the 'transformation and priority initiatives fund'.

AS ONE of the library cuts protesters who allegedly 'stunned' councillors at the Mayor Making ceremony last week, I wish to make it absolutely clear that the protest was a bona fide means of continuing to bring to the public attention the decision of the current administration to close six out of 12 of the borough's libraries - and highlight the fact that, despite the need for such desperate cuts that we lose our library spaces, a ceremonial post such as the mayor's can continue apparently unaffected.

WE WERE so shocked to read that Mrs Mehta and her son were told to eat on the street, all because the owner of the Deli would not allow Dylan to eat a safe meal in their restaurant along with other paying customers.
