Axe ministers' pay for pass

AXING the Freedom Pass speaks volumes about the Government's financial priorities, yet it declares this as an 'inefficient use of public funds'.

While I am not a user of the pass, I see many using daily and I am confident many benefit from it.

Clearly money to fund this can easily be found through real, efficient use of public funds - namely the ministers' salaries, allowances and pension.

It is time to axe the ministers' salary by 70 per cent, cut allowances by 50 per cent and put an end to the ministers' final salary pension scheme.
