Knotweed? Tell me more...

I NOTED with interest the short item on the subject of this environmental nuisance, Japanese Knotweed (Harrow Observer, September 11).

I do not know what this plant looks like and suspect I am not alone in this. Through your letters page, perhaps I could ask the council to consider providing comprehensive infor

mation about the problem and how to tackle it, including a clear picture to help with identification of the plant.

A leaflet would be helpful, as would community noticeboard posters and, of course, some more guidance through local papers such as the Harrow Observer.
