Three people were injured in a collision between two cars at a busy town centre crossroads this lunchtime.
The crash happened at the junction of Peterborough Road and Lowlands Road at 1.45pm today, and a man believed to be in his 20s suffered a leg injury and his vehicle ended up on a traffic island.
Two women, one middle-aged and one estimated to be in her 20s, were pinned in the other car after it struck a fence.
Firefighters from Harrow Fire Station managed to manoeuvre the vehicle so they could be freed and treated by paramedics for minor injuries.
The crossroads were closed and bus routes 182, 186, 223, 258, H14, H17 and H19 diverted for just shy of four hours.
