Kylie's desperate for St Tropez hideaway

Singer Kylie Minogue and her beau Oliver Martinez are about to make a big commitment to each other - by buying a house together.

According to the Daily Mirror, the pair are planning to splash the cash on a place in St Tropez, in the South of France.

The couple are said to be keen to find a place as quickly as possible and have been looking around Port Grimaud, described as the “little Venice” of the Riviera.

A close friend of the couple said: “Kylie really wants a home near St Tropez and so does Olivier.

“Their pal Johnny Depp has a home up the road and they love the fact that he can enjoy a hassle-free lifestyle there – away from the paparazzi.

“They’ve been looking around Port Grimaud, which is a stunning area. Kylie thinks it would be fabulous to have a place on the water, with their yacht moored nearby.

“This will be the first place they’ve bought together and Kylie wants somewhere really special – a dream home with Olivier…away from London and Paris.”

Once the 36-year-old and French actor Olivier, who have been dating each other for 18 months, finally find somewhere they will be joining a long list of stars, including George Michael and Sir Elton John who have places close by.

The couple have seen a few places so far, but their favourite is near the home of Johnny Depp, wife Vanessa Paradis and their two children, which has a £2million price tag.

The pad has five bedrooms, a swimming pool, a garden and a hot tub.

But the only problem is that Kylie is concerned about privacy, an insider at the estate agents revealed.

The source said: “She fears photographers may be able to see into the garden.”

Olivier, 38, and Kylie have arranged more viewings in the area for late next week, which coincides with a mid-September Riviera cruise on their 50ft yacht, White Wings.
