Jackiey: 'I was attacked by 4 men'

JACKIEY Budden says she was attacked outside a Bermondsey bank.

The 49-year-old was allegedly pounced on by four Asian youths next to Barclays Bank in Abbey Street.

They are said to have pinned her against a car as they shouted and swore in her face on Friday at around 1.15pm.

TV's Celebrity Big Brother contestant Jackiey, mum of Jade Goody, had just withdrawn money from the bank's cashpoint.

She says the thugs eventually let go of her and drove off in their Mercedes when other cars hooted their horns.

Race storm

Jackiey alerted a policeman when she saw him walking near the bank.

It comes only a week after she moved back to her council flat following the Celebrity Big Brother race storm.

Jackiey fled from her home in Peter Butler House after yobs threw stones at her flat and chanted abuse after she left the Channel 4 show last month.

She said: "I'm all right now although it was frightening at the time.

"I was with the police all Friday and they're getting it sorted.

"I'm absolutely petrified.

"I thought my life was getting back to normal after everything that happened with Big Brother.

"But what happened on Friday has come as a real setback.

"I don't want to let these people force me out of my manor, that would mean they won.

"Anyone who knows me knows I'm not a bad person."

Jackiey became international news for her part in the Celebrity Big Brother race row last month.

'The Indian'

The one-armed lesbian refused to call Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty by her name and referred to her as "The Indian".

Benefit bosses are investigating her finances after it was revealed she has earned an estimated £50,000 from TV programmes, magazine deals and promotions.

Southwark housing bosses are also looking into her circumstances.

Cops say they searched through the bank's CCTV footage but failed to identify any attacker or the incident.

A police spokeswoman said: "There was an allegation of verbal abuse, but we have investigated and it does not constitute an offence. We are not taking this any further."
