VUE Harrow is showing a special recording of George Frideric Handel's masterpiece, Messiah, sung by the Choir of King's College, Cambridge.
The performance was recorded live in the historic King's College chapel to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the composer's death and celebrate the 800th anniversary of the University of Cambridge.
Vue's high-definition screens and exceptional surround sound will ensure you are completely immersed in the music.
The oratorio is often performed at Christmas. However, the story it tells, using texts from the King James and Great Bibles, is particularly relevant for the Easter season.
The work presents the Christian view of Jesus Christ as the Messiah and relates the prophecies of his birth, his miracles, crucifixion, resurrection and ascension.
